About This List
Closed Caption Creator Inc. uses the third-party service providers listed below (“sub-processors”) to operate the Closed Caption Creator application (the “Service”). A sub-processor processes personal information or Customer Content on our behalf, only as needed to provide the Service, and under contractual terms that require it to protect that data.
Many sub-processors are used only when you choose a feature that needs them. For example, your audio is only sent to a transcription provider when you run automatic transcription with that provider. Where a feature lets you pick an engine or voice, your data goes only to the provider you select, except where noted below.
This list forms part of our Application Privacy Policy and Application Terms of Service. “Location” is the country where the provider’s contracting entity is based. Providers may process data in other regions under their own data processing terms. See Section 10 of the Privacy Policy for how we handle international transfers.

Note on prompt-based translation: Before translating with an LLM engine (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini), the Service sends the full transcript to Anthropic to prepare a short context brief, such as names, terminology, and tone. This happens whichever LLM engine you choose.
Note on AI audio description: Anthropic is the primary provider. If a request to Anthropic fails, the same request may be retried with Google Gemini and then with OpenAI.

The following services are not our sub-processors. You choose to connect them, usually with your own account or credentials, and data you send to them is governed by your agreement with that provider:

Live caption destinations such as YouTube Live, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams
Video hosts whose media URLs you load into the player, such as YouTube, Vimeo, Mux, or Cloudflare Stream
Changes to This List
We will update this page at least fourteen (14) days before we start using a new sub-processor to process personal information or Customer Content, and we will change the “Last Updated” date above.
